Andrew Hutchins

Andrew began his career as a JTL apprentice in 1990, building his career from the ground up, gaining hands-on experience across the electrical industry before becoming Managing Director of Newport firm, Crimewatch Alarms Ltd.

Crimewatch Alarms Ltd. have been an active Member of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) for 30 years. Andrew is Chair of ECA’s Labour Relations Committee and Regional Executive Committee for South Wales. He is also Regional Chair of the Joint Industries Board (RJIB).

Andrew’s constant focus has been on developing skills within the industry — improving training access, supporting contractors, and simplifying funding routes so businesses can invest confidently in the next generation.
