Linda joined the groundbreaking Decent and Safe Homes (DASH) team within Derby City Council almost 20 years ago with the aim of helping Local Authorities across the country improve the PRS. Over the years DASH has grown into one of the top training providers for Local Authority Officers operating in the Private Rented Sector (PRS), with expertise in HHSRS, Damp, HMOs and Renters Rights Act training. Rooted in the PRS Linda’s role continues to evolve & grow as we all enter the new world of the Renters’ Rights Act and Supported Housing Act. Linda also works closely with the fantastic team who operate the National Code for Larger Student Developments where she is on the Committee of Management offering advice & guidance via the committee of management and consortium as the ANUK representative. Managing multiple accreditation schemes that are underpinned by solid foundations offer real value to landlords, tenants, and local authorities alike.
