Alexis leads Yorkshire Housing’s ambition to be a Net Zero housing provider by 2050, working to provide healthy, comfortable, low carbon homes and stronger communities across Yorkshire. With over 18 years’ experience in sustainability roles across local government, charity, and social housing sectors , she’s passionate about reducing environmental impact and tackling social inequality. Alexis has delivered major energy efficiency retrofit programmes, championed affordable warmth, and explored innovative renewable and low carbon energy solutions. Before joining Yorkshire Housing, she led on sustainability at Incommunities Housing Association and delivered award-winning environmental and sustainability projects at Leeds University Union and Kirklees Council. Alexis has a wealth of experience in environmental management, legal compliance, energy efficiency, carbon and sustainability reporting and climate change—always with a focus on making a real difference for people and communities.
