Kenneth Gibb
Professor of Housing Economics - the University of Glasgow
Kenneth Gibb is professor of housing economics at the University of Glasgow where he directs the ESRC UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE). Ken’s research interests are in housing markets, social housing and the analysis of housing policy. In recent years he has become more involved in the evaluation of housing retrofit interventions. Many of Ken’s recent publications on topics such as rent control, Housing Support and the Niddrie Road tenement retrofit are on CaCHE’s website: https://housingevidence.ac.uk. Ken is the academic lead on the University’s homelessness initiative, Road to Home. He is also a committee member of Shelter Scotland and trustee and board member of the What Works Centre for Homelessness Impact. He is also a board member of Clyde Valley housing association.
