Jill Fairweather
Historic Environment Skills Manager - Welsh Government

Jill has been working in the built heritage sector for nearly 35 years, the last 18 of which have been with Cadw, first as an Inspector of Historic Buildings, and more recently, as the Historic Environment Skills Manager. She is responsible for promoting the skills and knowledge needed to work on traditional and historic buildings, particularly in relation to climate change adaptation and decarbonisation. Jill has developed good practice guidance on both topics, which can be found on the Cadw website. She also sits on various working groups, and took part in the review of PAS2035, PAS2038 and a number of National Occupational Standards relating to energy efficiency retrofit.
