Digital Transformation of Housing Management Systems: Infinity Group Workshop

Infinity Group, one of 10 Microsoft Inner Circle Partners in the UK, showcased the future of the digital transformation of housing management systems to social landlords at a workshop event in Birmingham.

Attendees learnt how to successfully upgrade legacy housing management systems, taking Infinity Group’s modular approach – with exclusive insights on the concept of the ‘Golden Thread’ of data and future innovations from Microsoft in the evolving landscape of housing technology.

Infinity Group has developed its customised BRIKHousing Management System which works seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics, replacing legacy systems brick-by-brick, one module at a time.

Insights into successful digital transformation journeys in a Microsoft environment, making cultural shifts with BRIKHousing, were also shared via a panel discussion with housing technology leaders, Gareth Davies, Director of Technology and Data – Wales & West, Richard Troote, Director of Technology and Business Transformation at United Welsh, Gerard Naughton, Head of Digital, IT and Data Services – Wandle Housing Association and Mark Cole, Director of Resources – Women’s Pioneer Housing.

Microsoft Solution Specialist, Caimin Stafford, explored the potential of AI

Microsoft Solution Specialist, Caimin Stafford, explored the potential of AI, Microsoft Copilot studio and its housing applications. Including: webchats, photos of damp and mould cases supporting social landlords to meet the requirements of Awaab’s Law and onboarding to enhance compliance, protect data and utilise real-time reporting for smarter decision-making.

North Star Housing Group also unveiled its new Landlord and Universal Credit Processing app, developed in partnership with Infinity Group, automating time consuming manual submissions to the UK’s Department for Work and Pensions portal.

Looking to the future, further innovative solutions developed by Infinity Group for the housing sector include the Utility App, in partnership with Orbit Group and Microsoft, which manages the effective capture of utility readings and will be free to download for all housing associations next year. As well as a Voids app which is part of Infinity Group’s repairs module, enhancing the voids process.
