Nigel Donohue

Nigel Donohue has been the Chief Executive Officer of the CIGA Group (Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency) since 2016 and, following the launch of The Installation Assurance Authority (The IAA) in April 2020, The IAA Commercial Services (The IAA CS) in October 2021, and The IAA Federation in 2024, operates now as the Group Chief Executive.

Nigel has been responsible for the transformation of CIGA into a market-leading compliance body across the insulation and renewable energy sectors. He is the insulation installer lead on the PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 Steering groups, and sits on several bodies, including the CLC People and Skills Working Group, the Government Green Jobs Taskforce, and the Optimised Skills for Retrofit Working Group in Wales.

The launch of the organisation's National Energy Efficiency Centre as a partnership between industry and the education sector has helped further evidence the organisation's commitment to improving the competence of the sector.
